Had a good fourth quarter, but 0-3 in the last minute.... Can't close, right? No. All of you morons who say LeBron can't close are idiots he's 3/6 in last 2 minutes in 4th qtr/OT. He's been dominating the 4th quarter.

Funny how analysts don't jump down Kobe's throat for taking bad shots in last minute and missing 3 in a row. But if that were LeBron it'd be the "choke artist" etc.

Last night was one night. You gotta look at the overall body of work or multiple games.

And I didn't watch the game but I know in the last few minutes he was 3/3 from 3 before he missed his last few shots.

Lebron was knocking down shots late in game 4 against the Knicks, but on the last play he didn't get the ball at all and therefore he was criticized badly again. And even if he did get the ball and if he happened to miss it, I'm pretty sure he would be criticized again. He is only human, can't expect him to do everything, people.

If it wouldn't have been for kobe, the Lakers wouldn't have even been in the game. What a terrible, uneducated post.

lebron wishes he was as clutch as kobe is. dont forget the last 2 three pointers he missed were barely misses and he was covered tightly. He still had the balls to take the shot unlike lebron.

LeBron is second in league (behind CP3) in 4th quarter efficiency. All of you morons should be banned.

the difference is kobe not scared to try and close out, if it hadn't been for his 4th quarter surge lakers would have lost by 20ish.

lebron statistically probably has better fg % in the "clutch moments" but how often do you see him have the courage to take the last shot? ie putting his reputation on the line not afraid of failure even wade has admitted he doesnt mind being in the robin role, lebron is the leader of heat, yet often defers to teammate.

most recent example I remember is this year's asg, Lebron didn't shoot the ball when he was expected to game on the line... even carmelo anthony chuckling about lebron not shooting, and ofc kobe.

8:30ish lebron passes the ball away twice, than inbounds the ball leaving it to wade or carmelo to take game winner

he failed when the game was on the line

it is called selective recall. kobe is not really that good in the clutch. he has been league average in game winning shot efficiency, but because he takes so many by volume people have a bias that he is better than that.
