I remember a few years ago the NBA instituted the flop rule. It seems to me that it caused more flopping as it's never ever called.

I've always said that the league office should control flops and give out fines and suspensions after every game. A lot of players seem to take acting classes and the shit needs to stop.

There has always been flopping but it seems like it's getting worse.

When I see big guy like Blake Griffin flopping around it pisses me off. I used to be a huge Griffin fan too because I graduated from OU and am a Sooner fan.

I dont think he flops as much as people say. The man is huge. These can be interpreted two ways: he shouldn't make so many gestures and complain so much because it doesn't hurt him... or he is getting fouled really hard and we just don't understand because of how strong he is, meaning it seems like flopping to our normal eyes.

FIFA introduced a yellow card for "diving" in soccer. Its still a cancer in soccer though. The bottom line is, its cheating. You are trying to con the ref, have a foul on another player. Its disgusting and needs to stop in any sport it exists. Stern needs to address this in the off season. Even if they bring in the video replay to review diving it would help. Tee up the guy and give the other team 2 free throws would solve it pretty quick. Whats the present FLOP RULE ?
