Got burned on Jazz last night, but knowing myself I'll probably lay a little something on UTA +8. Incredible value for a home team facing elimination. Worked out for the Knicks today didn't it?

Took Spurs -8. Jazz haven't shown they can keep it closer than double digits yet. They're gonna fight hard, but they're a paint team not outside shooters and still aren't quick enough to contain the pace of the Spurs game

UTA's lack of outside shooting a big concern they need to address in the offseason.

Exact identical situation to the Heat/Knicks series...and the exact same line. Still don't know if we can rely on Spurs to slack like Miami did and/or expect Utah to play out of their minds like Knicks did.
I'd say Pop would emphasize the importance of this game, and not extending the series, more to his team than Spoelstra did to the Heat. Spurs are much more susceptible to fatigue and injuries and they will come out determined to shut the series out. Keeping in mind that they may face a potential re-match with Grizz next, Spurs will need to be well rested for that series.

Pop's notorious for wanting ample rest for his Big 3 whenever possible, and Jefferson has all but conceded saying that this Spurs team is "simply a better team than us", still with one game to go. That kind of statement from any professional athlete is disconcerting, especially you're top scorer. I'd say Spurs repeat Game 3 performance, pulling away second half to cap it by 12-15pts. This team has been just too good all year to bet against, given their history with Jazz this whole season it seems like a no brainer. I would bet that the public will jump on the Jazz thinking they'll pull a Knicks game, but this team doesn't have a Melo. I hear Corbin is thinking about moving Favors into the starting five as well which in my opinion is a big mistake and will open the gap even more. Rooks notoriously don't do well being thrust into a starting spot without the prep, and against Tim Duncan that's just a bad idea.

Spurs down to -7.5 so I am jumping on them. Utah just doesn't have the personnel to keep up with this team. Spurs also know that OKC swept and Lakers are going home up 3-1. They need to end this series ASAP in case they go to 6 or 7 games in the next round.
