Why do sharps like Denver tonight?
Is the only reason because squares love LAL? I haven't heard one good reason that Denver should cover tonight other than people being scared LAL is a trap because the public is all over them. If Vegas thought -5 was fair for the first game, they probably think it's still fair and they aren't gonna let the results of one game influence them too much. We haven't seen any game 2 line move more than 1 point from the game 1 line and it looks like Denver is about to move to +6 (already did on sportsbook).

"George Carl is a good coach so he's going to have all the necessary adjustments made"

    1) LA knows this and will have readjustments ready
    2) That still doesn't make up for the sheer mismatches between teams

"Lakers will give a lackluster effort because they won't mind a loss in order to extend the series and get more games out of the way before the next series so Artest can come back faster"

Wouldn't they wait until they have secured the first 2 home games instead of risking blowing the series completely by throwing a game this early? Artest isn't kobe either.

Denver backers...give me your best shot!

If Denver has any chance of winning tonight, George Karl will have to of made major adjustments. Kuofus and Faried are just a bad matchup for LA. Al Harrington will be key if they want to win, he is their only big man who can score and stretch the defense w/ his outside shot.

Most people just don't get it. They wanna crunch numbers and over think all of this shit here. What they don't understand is that the gamble here is with human beings NOT cards or a game of chance.

Alot of people are going to disagree with this statement but its true:

Mike brown does very well at game to game adjustments. Lakers will be ready tonight I guarantee you that.

I think people are expecting Denver's major adjustment to be running more and expect a higher scoring game because of this. The Lakers are going to do everything they can to keep it slow, though.

Whoever is backing Denver tonight, most likely backed NY last night. They are over thinking it. The Lakers have too much length for the Nuggets. Its only the first round, teams will be swept and the Nuggets might be one of them. LAL -5.5

zigzag theory did really well - back in the 80s. Then the books caught up. Anyone who doesn't believe me can research the playoff records using the zigzag theory from the 90's to now.

Same thing with betting dogs on monday night football. That worked well until the books caught up.

Same thing with betting dogs on monday night football. That worked well until the books caught up.
teams bounce all the time you just have to pick your spots sometimes just a hunch tonight i'm thinking denver ML + the over.

The zigzag theory works when teams are evenly matched but I think the Lakers have big match-up advantages, a big home-court advantage, and a big psychological advantage.

Those who follow the zigzag theory (or fade it) blindly will get 50/50 results at best and lose in juice - which is exactly what the books want.
