I really think the Celtics will rally without Rondo with Pierce and Garnett. Bradley is a good back up and I like his defensive intensity at times. Plus I don't think they shoot 0-11 from 3 point range tonight...

Does anyone know what the 2011-2012 Celtics record was without Rondo this year?

Garnett is hurting i just don't see it this year from the Celtics. Looked very old and beat down in game one. Without Rondo and Allen going to take a total collapse from the Hawks. Which as we have seen with the Hawks could very well happen. But they seem to always play the Celtics tough in the playoffs i don't see them letting up.

An article on CSNNE.com states of Ray Allen (ankle), "[his] status for the remainder of this season is uncertain."

The article features extensive interviews with Allen, and nowhere is it suggested that he could return soon -- Ray basically laments the loss of his routine and typical game-day schedule. He will need surgery after the playoffs, and part of the problem is bone spurs, so Celtics' fans should consider him 'out indefinitely' until we hear otherwise.

thats why they rested late in the season, and reason they came out flat...I see a huge defensive effort tonight from the C's...I like the points with their backs against the wall....but the Hawks def need this game more than the Cs

I like the under yet again even though it is now 173.5.

In Atlanta in 3 games between them this year the final score was 157, 155 and only once went over to 189 and that was just before the season ended when there was talk that Boston tanked the game.
Also in Boston on April 14 the game ended 88-86 in overtime!
Without Rondo and Allen listed as day to day, I think I'll take the under again. The line actually has moved up from 172.5 when I first saw it early in the day.
