NBA Spread vs Money Line

Now this is just based on what I see happening in SBR. I don't see many cappers going for the ML on most games as oppose to the Spread. Now for my own knowledge and learning points of being a capper myself what are the betting pros and cons of both the Spread and ML?

MLs are usually too low

Spread obviously the con is the spread number itself can screw you ...team wins but dont cover.

I once read on here from another poster if you're goinG to consider playing a dog on a small spread its better value/makes more sense to play te ML instead. ie-Knicks today
