76ers are playing the Raptors in Tornoto tomorrow 4/11.

Raptors are coming off a loss to the Pacers and the 76ers are rolling after beating the nets by 19.

This game is a must win for the 76s, as they are barely holding on to that 7th spot in the playoff race.

    I'm expecting a blowout.

    Thoughts?

I just put down a little bit on philly. My gut is telling me philly for sure but before I put more money down on it I wanted to investigate why the line is so low. Do you have any idea ? I mean they are playing back-to-back road games but other than that just off the top I can't think of a reason why it is as low as it is?

the only reason i can think of is the back to back away games. but we all know betting a team while theyre hot is key to profiting in the nba.

Yeah they haven't played well at all...but still if thats the only reason then I am going to go with them. Alot at stake tomorrow for the sixers. Nothing at stake for the raptors. Sounds like the sixers played well tonight. Hopefully this will carry over to tomorrow night.

I guess another reason is the raptors beat them by 21 just a week ago. But isnt that when they had Bargnani? He is out again isnt he?

Toronto has been covering the spread real well lately, but they just aren't the same team without Bargnani. I like the under as well, both coaches preach defense first. Total is already down to 178.5 after opening at 180.

I think the spread is low enough to back Philly. They put up a nice win against NJN on the road, which should give some indication that they are still interested in the playoffs. And if Philly comes to play and gives full effort (which I don't see why they wouldn't), they should be able to beat this Raptors team by 4+ easily - with or without Bargnani.

Only motivation Toronto has is to please the fans, their season is obviously over. So hopefully they don't try too hard this game.

Andrea Bargnani (calf) will not play on Wednesday and will undergo tests on Thursday.

Bargnani met with the full medical staff on Tuesday, and Dwane Casey previously hinted that the big man could be done for the rest of the year. There figures to be an announcement following Bargnani's tests, but this is not good news considering the previous problems he's had with his calf this year.
