Tough spot for Memphis. 7th game in 9 days. Hard that Dallas is coming off an OT loss. I know Dallas wouldn't want to slip down the rankings, so are the Griz.

Dallas hasn't been playing that well but I love them here at +4.

Let's hope ya'll are wrong. Memphis did already beat them by 11 on leap day in Memphis. It was also a very similar situation with Dallas on a b2b after just losing to the Nets by 1. Dallas' bench has been flaky lately, so I think the fatigue gets to them tonight.

Mavs are a streaky team, just look at their schedule. When they win one, they usually win 2 or 3 more right after. When they lose one, they usually follow that up with another loss or two. They've had 6 stretches where they have lost consecutive games in a row, and 4 times where they have lost at least 3 in a row. This team does not respond well off of losses like you think they would.

my point is, there is ZERO let down going to happen and you fell for it hook, line and sinker. him showing focus after beating "the best" team in the league says it all. there was no OMG we just beat the Heat celebration going on.

Well my point was, have u ever really seen a "OMG we just beat Heat celebration."? Of course players will say things like Gasol did, cuz its just what a professional would say. But if you really think that that win did not mean something big for the Grizz, u are mistaken.

Having said that, I personally felt the 'let-down' angle could be used to back Mavs here because many teams coming off huge wins (like against Miami and OKC) tend to perform poorly. Does not mean Grizz wont win or cover this, they very well could. But for me, Dallas was my play, and if they cover, I was right this play, and if they don't, your pick was right. No big deal.

memphis is just one of those teams that is really making a push and cant afford to "take nights off" if you will. dallas is in a critical stretch as well but coming off that brutal beat last night and headin out on the road i didnt expect much from them. now the next game on the road i think will be a great spot to hit dallas as a dog(possibly)
