Why are you taking the Pacers tonight?

I keep hearing OKC is a huge public play but it seems like everyone on this board likes the Pacers.

Why is everyone taking Indiana? What favorable matchups do they have? What's the reason?

I'd love to take them as a Friday night home dog, but frankly, you'd be betting on an erratic team against arguably the best in the game. Good luck with that.

I do like the under, though. Line is suspiciously low given the history of these two teams and the points they like to put up against each other.

You're exactly right and I like the under as well.

I understand the "suspicious line" angle but come on, you need more than that to take a side. Suspicious lines win all the time. It's not as easy as just taking the side with the weird line.

Sometimes I feel like Vegas throws weird lines out there once in a while to mess with people.

As for this game, I think the line is about right. What did people expect the line to be? OKC wasn't going to be a 7 point road favorite here.

If you think the line is fishy, why not just pass on the game?

I'm on Indi +4. Never feel great going up against OKC, but i'm taking my chances. I was able to get them at +4, so I feel comfortable having the 4 points. Pacers got the length and size to guard OKC and defend the paint. Teams have responded poorly after playing Miami.

Big game for Indi, I expect Indi and the crowd to be into it. I'm a homedog type of guy as well, especially if I can get a quality home team like Indiana.

Thunder ARE a huge public play. I have seen more people betting okc on here than I have seen people backing the pacers.

I've seen one person on OKC and there is an entire thread of people that like the Pacers.

dude just chill, i was trying to act like a moron and jinx the celtics. if you REALLY want me too i can show you my ticket where i had them in a parlay on the ML. no one actually acts like i did and is serious, unless they are mentally challenged.

regardless of what i posted yesterday i am pretty sure it is the same old story with betting the pacers. line seems "funny" and a bunch of guys think they are really sharp and go against the public because the line looks too easy for the thunder. usually the main "reason" that pops up after that is the team magically matches up well.

I do think the pacers are athletic/long enough to limit penetration by the thunder and if they can frustrate westbrook then he tends to make mistakes. I don't have a play on the game though.
