if the wizards decide to actually play tonight, it can spell doom for detroit. that aint no bs either.

I'm on Pistons. Pistons have no right to be 8 point favs, but it is for a reason. This line screams for action on Washington. This is the middle game of a b2b2b.
Teams have done fairly poor ATS in the middle game of the b2b2b. This is actually the Wizards 2nd set of a b2b2b in the past month. They played @ BOS in the middle of the b2b2b and didn't cover. I don't really have any stats to back it up, but just off the top of my head I remember that:
LAC didn't cover in the middle game against OKC
INDI didn't cover and lost SU at home to PHX in the middle game
DAL lost SU and didn't cover in the middle game against SAC
Just a couple days ago MEM nearly lost SU and didn't cover against GS

I think the biggest reason for the spread is Wizards lost all 3 b2b2b's last go around and then lost the first one yesterday. It's the trend

As usual, tread lightly on Thursdays.

The Washington bullets always have a few points tacked onto their lines so the books can drag people by the hair over to the window to give them some balance, otherwise all you would hear is crickets. They are on auto pilot auto fade forever.

Line begs for action on Washington. Right now at Pinny you can get Washington +8 at +103, and Detroit is juiced up at -113.

There is a reason Pinny juiced Detroit.
Also, these "Ultra Mega Square" threads were cool when BettingWizard was making them a few months ago and winning.
Ever since then, all these threads do is lose.

lol seriously. No originality lmao. Man I placed my bet on Wizards last night on Heritage and only got 5 1/2 points. When I saw it jumped to 8 points today and was watching the game I was sure it was lost. I dunno how the Wizards pulled it off but that was a sweet comeback. Knicks was a nice one also. Now I just need Bulls and Clips to pull thru.

To be fare, it was like a 7-8 game with 4 or 5 minutes left. With that said, I wasn't really following it that close.
I'm not sure why people are shocked that a team is up 17 in the 4th quarter yet the game finished .5 off of the original spread. This always seems to happen.
To the casual fan, it will just appear that the Wizards let off the gas a little but still got the win. Nothing strange right....

I only followed online but it seemed like hack-a-wallace followed by the Pistons fouling immediately back?
The over cashed by a few points in the end....

i would love for someone who was watching this to give their thoughts on what was happening.
i dont understand how detroit (up 7-10pts) would foul about 6 times with under 2 min.....were these bs calls, or was detroit just being stupidly aggressive on defense...
and i know ben wallace made about 4 of 5 with under 2min, but why the hell is he in the game?

He made the FT's tonight, but he's a horrific FT shooter so why was he on the floor?

It's just a coincidence man. Over the course of a season weird things like this happens once in a while.......

Well, for those weren't watching, the Wizards started aggressively driving to the basket towards the end of the game, after they began doing Hack a Ben, and also picking up full court defensively, which resulted in a couple of steals, hence the Detroit fouls.

i was hoping that was the case...if the wizards were driving to the basket a lot then it makes more sense with the fouls.
did you think the refs were up to something?
i only see this one steal with 19 seconds left and this was not off an in bounds...

They seemed like legit fouls to me.
There were some near steals, like tipped passes, they were fouled before taking possession of the ball, so they weren't credited with the steal.
