HOw is Lebron the MVP this year? If you take Lebron off the Heat they still have two Olympic players, they might drop off 5-10 wins. If you take Kevin Love off the Wolves or Kobe off the Lakers, each team is 15 games worse.

Lebron is averaging 28.5 .. 7 and 7 ... Best defensive player in the year ... Kobe averaging 30 4 and 4?? If that and love is just a point scorer ad rebounder ... Lebron deserves it .. Best overall player in the league and Durant is right behind him

LeBron will never be MVP while on the same team as Bosh and Wade... won't happen.

You also assume that the NBA's Most Valuable Player would be somewhat clutch, wouldn't you?

Lebron has been clutch this year ? He just had 15 points in the 4 th quater the other night and closed out against the thunder with his defense ..

Ok, let me know when Lebron wins MVP with Wade and Bosh.

You calling Lebron clutch then telling me I know nothing.... funny. He can score 15 points in any qtr but if he misses or refuses to take that game winning shot, how clutch can he be?

So Lebron barely beating OKC at home can win it but Durant dominating Miami at home can't? This makes sense

Lebron or Durant is going to win it .. Lebron is a pretty clutch player .. H
just cuz he has wade and bosh doesn't mean shit .. Jordan had pippen and Kobe and shaw had each other .. Pleas did lets be real .. Look at Durant he even has westbrook .... A lot of prior MVPs have had a good player next to him ... Single team players don't necessarily have to win MVP ... Rose last year was an exception even though he has an insanely good amount of role players

Anyone who thinks Lebron wrapped it up last night. That 6 point win over the Sixers is looking a lot worse right now too considering they have been blown out by the Wiz and Raptors in the last week. If Heat don't have the best record in the East he has no business winning it.

I just feel that if Durant averaged 30 7 and 7 he would def get it...im saying lebron cuz of his defensive ability .. He guards the best player on every team pretty much every game .. He even guarded the center position a few games .. He's just a freak of nature and being 6'8 250 can make him guard pretty much anyone in the league .. He locked up d rose in the playoffs last year and he's averaging career highs this year in shooting percentage... at least he was before idk about now

                          It's between Lebron and Durant.

Lebron putting up the numbers he is with Wade and Bosh on the team, makes it more impressive. The numbers shouldn't be as high as they are with 2 other all-stars, right? Wasn't his numbers suppose to drop off, playing with them two?

You can say the same for Durant. Westbrook and Harden both having good years, but Durant is still excelling.

                          Both players are very deserving.

Think CP3 is right on par w/ those 2. What he is doing w/ that roster is far more impressive imo.

What does that have to do with anything? We all know teams "get up" for teams like the Heat, and "play down" to teams like the Wizards and Raptors. What about the 2 times the Heat blew the Sixers out, before the all-star break? Plus the Heat have been playing like sh!t since the all-star break.

Lebron did not wrap up the MVP race. The heat would still be in second place probably even without Lebron. Take Durant off of the thunder and they fall way down in the playoff race.

LeBron is the best all around player in the league, it isn't even close.

IMO the MVP this year can only go to 1 of 2 people. LeBron or Durant. No other player is on there level right now and you cant tell me that both James & Durant didn't know about all of the hype about last night's game and how the media was basically making it into a battle for the MVP. With that being said I can't believe nobody has yet to mention that Kevin Durant had 9 TO's last night and the 3-pt shot he took to tie the game, he air-balled. And who was playing defense on him on that play again? Oh yeah, Lebron.
LeBron definantly outplayed him in every way, shape, and form last night. I understand where some of you are coming from but it feels like most of you all are just talking $%&t on him because of the hatred you have towards him. I mean c'mon the dude is third in scoring, 13th in assists per game, 26th in rebounding, ninth in field goal percentage and fourth in steals per game, and he's been playing world-class defense that deserves a DPOY mention. He also leads the field in wins produced, win shares, PER, and has recorded the highest true shooting and total rebound percentages of his career. If anyone else in the league was putting up these numbers they would be the MVP in a heartbeat.
LeBron is the best basketball player on the planet right now and you obviously are f%$&ing blind or don't know anything about basketball if you dont see it. He has earned the award. You all can criticize him when/if he fails in the playoffs..

Lebron has been the best player in the League for many years now. He is possibly the greatest player of all time. A freak of nature. Lets hope his team mates help him out this year to get that ring that the kid so desperately deserves.
