How do you calculate how many units you are up?
A unit = 1% of your bankroll, right? So if you win do you recalculate what 1 unit is or does it stay the same?

Never really understood how this works.

A unit can equal whatever you want it to equal to, doesnt have to be 1% of your bankroll.

I'm pretty sure you re adjust unit size as roll increases. Vice versa if bank decreases.

Eg- if you use 1% units with $10,000 and you increase it to $20,000 you'd then use 1% of the $20,000 bank not what you were using before at $10,000.

        I think.

I am keeping mine simple. 1 unit equals 100 bucks. My weekly gambling bank role is between 15 units to 2 units depending on the previous week. So instead of fluctuating the percentage of a unit, I apply the keep it simple stupid method.

Units are a waste IMO, unless your "unit" is the same size for all bets. Why would you bet 10 units on a game, and 3 on another???? Are you that much more confident? If that's the case, then don't even make the "3 unit" bet. Units are hype that paid services get you to believe in, but they are a crock of sh*t. Keep you bets the same amount and it's much harder to lose $. You could go 4-2 one night and if your 2 losses were larger unit plays, you could be down money.....Makes zero sense!

keeping all bets the same amount is silly.

Bingo, flat betting is only viable if your using a model that produces consisitant results.

you would need to factor in all the juice you are paying on losing bets.... you are rarely paying 1 to 1 on bets made. So often you are really losing 1.1 (or worse) units on each losing play.

Units are however much you want them to be. You don't readjust based on how much you've won gambling. If you have a bigger roll for other reasons then readjust but you'd be idiotic to raise your unit size just because you've made some money.
