    My introduction to this forum...
No one cares but hey guys!!!

I've made a few posts lately and I figured Id introduce myself as Ill probably be spending a lot of time here from here on out.

I used to/will soon go back to playing poker professionally. Problem is it got f***ed in the US and I have 1 month left of college so I can't do much until then. In the meantime I took up sports betting and it's basically the same thing as poker....most people are complete illogical idiots and the 5% will crush it long-term while 95% will post LOCK threads and lose more than the juice.

    Respect list:

    BigDofBA
    DudleyDawson
    Lakerboy
    PR9

Disrespect list (no offense.. fade material)
Lunchbawks (I actually like you I just think your picks have been off lately)
Everyone else I just forget your names

    PR9 is my boy.

Did you get stuck on FT when Black Friday hit? I had mine on Pokerstars but they paid out quick while FT gave all my 2p2 homies the shaft. The poker sites out there now pretty much suck after having been spoiled by Stars all those years.

I got really lucky.... was half FTP half stars 2 weeks before BF and ended up going on a huge downswing on FTP and huge upswing on stars right before BF. 2+2 is my home town...

Haha, yeh ive been on 2p2 since 2007 although i dont get on there too much anymore since Stars and FT went down. If you google "Republicans and Democrats Discriminate" youll see a thread i created at the top of the google search under an account "we_the_people" to keep it separated from my account. The actual thread took me 17 hours to create with all of the hyperlinks etc but it was to help get the Joe Barton Bill passed to legalize online poker. Long ass thread that linked to all the congressmans gov emails and fb's and a few post below that youll see me post as brainfreeze0.

Nostalgia, I miss the good old days but it will never be the same in the online poker world after that. Global poker against players all over the world, Ill miss it.

I was '05 . I think the top 10 cappers in the NBA forum could be great poker players but depending on their unit size idk which is more profitable

haha i dunno man. Multitabling and grinding takes a lot of patience. As far as the intelligence and math goes implied/ reverse implied odds etc, yes Im sure they could, but staring at a computer screen and clicking to that beep when it your turn to act on multiple tables is not for a lot of people as Im sure youll agree.

Sports betting is a grind & I'd even say less than 3% win long term. There's a small sample size to work with and a great deal of randomness to overcome. We have some good contributors here & it's a bit harsh to write everyone off. LTA & Dad are solid cappers going through a tough stretch.

I mostly stick to Aussie sports but do occasionally post an NBA pick or follow someone else's if I feel strongly about it. What seems to bury a lot of guys in this forum is blindly tailing & a preoccupation with going against "The Public," whoever that is.

Good luck with your NBA plays.

Haha yeah just like HU SNGs sports betting seems pretty high variance. I've wagered 106k in the past 10 days and I'm up $200. I have a 35-22 record in bets under $2200 and a 5-12 record with bets over $2200. <3 variance

At least with this you get the enjoyment of sitting back and letting someone else do all of the work. Those 36 hour grind sessions staring at a computer screen are draining. I'm sure you know the heartbreak of shoving deep in a tourney on Stars youve been sitting on for 8 hours and losing to A6o, thats when you take your mouse by the cord and start weilding it around and around like a mace into the tile floor and have to buy a new one.

I still like to play poker every now and then, but nowhere near how I was before. I got pretty lucky on a parlay and some other calls a couple weeks back and cashed out a grand on one sportsbook and have since moved to Heritage and 5dimes. Since then, like you, I'm about break even. Ill attribute some of those losses to a few spur of the moment prop bet tails though. On my own strict calls, aside from one night I completely blew it, Ive done alright. Its helped a lot coming here because we all bounce certain stats or trends or what not on game nights and you can make a pretty educated pick from that.

See you in the threads man
