the general consensus of this forum is = to the general public. As soon as I saw all the laker LOCK threads I instantly wanted to cancel my lakers +1 bet. Shoulda woulda coulda hindsight is 20/20. Lakers suck congrats to all the OKC backers....

It was more about people believing/faith they would step up at home,step up against okc..they just simply can't with their current team..they aren't good enough plain and simple..i and others lost money/paid to have this confirmed in our minds.Comment -
I took Lakers because they have a solid home win record, just lost to Memphis there, and they step up on big games. As far as the lock tards and guaranteeds you will have those on both sides of a game.
Yes youll always have people that always go with a favorite which is odd because underdogs win out on a higher scale over the longrun. I like working through a thread with a few of the regs here so we can throw out whatever factors could influence the game and go with the best choice whether it be favorite or underdog.
I dont think changing the team you think has the best opportunity because people have the gauranteed and lock threads up would be smart if you have weighed your options because they have them on the other side of that coin as well. Go with who you think will win and dont let other people influence that. I was originally on OKC and talked myself over into the Laker camp. Oh well thats how it goes. I didnt tail anyone though or change because some moron post a thread on someone being a guaranteed lock, just the Lakers looked right after weighing the edges.
