Add to that Lakers lost their last home game, something that really pissed them off. They will be coming to the next one with their A game. I'm on Lakers tonight and tomorrow.

Lakers will get up for OKC tomorrow, revenge game for them as well after that loss to them in OKC on TNT right before the all-star break.

I remember Kobe was pissed at Harden for prancing around like a little girl after he hit a three-pointer. I'm sure Kobe still remembers that. When Kobe plays with revenge, watch out.

Here is a small sample. I couldn't find the threads when I predicted the Thunder to lose to the Clippers and not cover against the Wizards and Cavs but every game I have predicted the Thunder to lose, they haven't covered and two of the games they lost by double digits as a favorite.

I predict them to win and lose and I've been doing pretty well. The only problem is I can't put money against my team so when they don't cover all of these games and I'm right, I win nothing. LOL.

Don't expect my opinion to be 100% accurate. In other words, don't go large on the Blazer and Lakers because I will be wrong eventually and as soon as people start going with what I saw it's sure to be a loser.

This thread is just warning people that like OKC tonight to lay off. I don't have a great feel for the game because I don't know which Portland team shows up. I just don't like this spot for the Thunder.

I also think they lose straight up to the Lakers next game. Good luck.

Bulls beat Miami and then got TOTALLY waxed vs Portland, in chicago, and lost to Portland by double-digits.

Could it happen to OKC in Portland tonight ?

I'm just saying that I have predicted OKC to lose straight 7 times this year on this forum. I made the thread before the game and OKC lost straight up 6 out of those 7 times and the majority of the time they were favored.

I could see them winning this game but not covering. With that said, it's hard for me to gauge how the Blazers will play tonight. If they come to play I think they cover, if not, OKC would win by 10 with an average performance. I tend to think this game will be close.

I say the Thunder eek out a 2-3 point win tonight and lose on the road at the Lakers.

Just my opinion. Ironically, when this board loves OKC, I usually don't like them. See the Spurs game a few weeks ago when OKC was down by as many as 27.

When the board loves OKC's opponent, I usually like the Thunder. See the Heat game the other night when the Thunder won by 16.

                Funny how that works.

^^ hey I totally understand. As you know, I was on OKC for a 5u bet against the Heat. And last night was my biggest bet of the past 3 weeks on Indiana pts and the ML vs Miami

No one knows a team more than a fan. Unlike you though, I am not afraid to bet against them. I mean, why not ??

If you did it you would have won 6 out of 7 bets , for $$

Agreed, Ill bet against my Houston Rockets if I think Ill win. It doesnt change them being my team and me being their fan, and it sure doesnt change their game play.

As soon as I predict them to lose and I bet against them, they will win and I will feel stupid for losing money betting against my own team.

Even though I think they will struggle or lose I still root for them.

I remember the first thread I predicted them win everyone called me a homer. Then I had to dig up the four threads I had previously made predicting them to lose.

It's almost like I get in a rythym and flow following them. I can almost feel when they might have an off not or not be as interested and fired up. It's weird.

That's silly logic. Betting on or against them has ZERO to do with the outcome. It has absolutely no relevance.

So you're saying that if you bet against them every game ML, the Thunder would go 0-66 this year ?

With that said, you have a very good read on the Thunder. I was leaning Thunder before the miami game, but after hearing what a big game it was for the city and how much the city was looking forward to it, I upped the bet

I just hope Portland shows up. If POR comes ready to play, they should cover this. Not too many times you see POR as a 5 point dog in the Garden.

I realize it doesn't effect the game but that's just my luck.

Also, I don't gamble for a living. It's more of a hobby and entertainment than anything. I wouldn't enjoy betting against my own team even if I won.

One of these 3 guys have to step up big for POR tonight: Nolan Smith, Johnny Flynn, or J Crawford. I'm gonna roll with the darkhorse, Johnny Flynn.
