    Thoughts on Spurs/Hornets
What are everyone's thoughts on this game. Right now the line is set at SA -5.

I really want to take NOH here, but I'm trying to sort through all the injuries. Last night Parker and Splitter were both out. Today I read that Manu is likely out for tonights game because of the b2b2b situation. It wouldn't surprise me if Duncan got held out tonight as well, we've seen Coach Pop do this before with Duncan. Does anyone know who exactly is in and out for SA?

Also for the Hornets, Kaman is listed as a game-time call with an illness, and Jason Smith will be out because of his hard hit to Blake Griffin on Thursday.

Right now 86% are on the SA spread and the line has only moved up a half point. Spurs are in the middle of a b2b2b and will likely overlook tonights game because they host Phili tomorrow. IMO, this looks like a big letdown spot for the Spurs after the big win against Dallas last night. Spurs have struggled playing b2b's on the road this season. Before I make a play though, I want to sort through all the injuries. If Kaman is out, this is a no play for me, especially with Smith already out.

I badly want to fade SA in the middle of the b2b2b. Teams have really struggled with this middle game all year. Who better to fade than the old and beaten up Spurs.

line just dropped back down to 4.5 with 86% on SA.

It has been confirmed that Splitter and Manu didn't make the roadtrip to New Orleans. Parker is questionable, but they think he may sit because they are in a 4 games in 5 days stint. Also looks like Carl Landry will return tonight. And just saw that Trevor Ariza is out for the Hornets as well.

Will either team have enough players to put on the court?

I'm on Spurs. I guess it all boils down to which team has a stronger, more confident 2nd unit.

I took Spurs as well, 1Q, 1st half, and whole game. Whats the deal with Ginobili?

They are just trying to take it slow with him. I don't think he is ready to play 3 games in a row quite yet.

I'm still debating whether I want to play this game or not. 3 of the Hornets 5 starts could be out (Ariza, Jason Smith and Kaman). But at the same time, Spurs are w/o Splitter, Ginobili, and maybe Parker.

I think Parkers still questionable. So the game is pretty much riding on Duncan and Green. If Ginobili out thats gonna hurt. Thats confirmed? Ive been trying to find anywhere that says it but no one mentioned it. Could be a rough game here, however Spurs good at foring turnovers and Hornets are good at giving them up.

Last time these two teams met Hornets covered. Tim Duncan hit the game winner at the buzzer.

Yeah but now San Antonio's pushing to maintain their #2 spot with Lakers right behind them. You might have an overconfident Hornets after Clippers victory to boot. I still have to go with San Antonio here knowing they got a tough game tomorrow. They cant afford to lose an easy win to the likes of NO

Yeah looks like Kaman is out and Parker is playing according to ESPN's injury report. Gotta go with the Spurs against basically the worst home team in the leage without their big man.

                                              • The Spurs have some good news and a small bit of bad news injury-wise going into Saturday night’s game in New Orleans. Guard Tony Parker (hamstring) will start against the Hornets after missing Friday’s win at home against Dallas. Coach Gregg Popovich said Parker is having his best overall season when combining his production and his leadership abilities. The bad news is that guard Manu Ginobili, who started for Parker against the Mavs, stayed home in San Antonio to rest, according to Popovich. Ginobili should be fine to play Sunday against the Sixers in San Antonio.
                                              • The Spurs will also be without center Tiago Splitter (back, didn’t make the trip) and guard Gary Neal, who bruised the top of his foot during Friday’s win. Popovich said X-rays were negative, but Neal couldn’t move his foot too well during pregame workouts in New Orleans.
                                              • The Hornets have been a team of walking wounded for a while, but their more empty handed than normal against the Spurs. Besides guard Eric Gordon (knee) and center Emeka Okafor (knee), New Orleans will be without center Chris Kaman (illness), forward Trevor Ariza (ankle) and forward Jason Smith (suspension). New Orleans will see forward Carl Landry in action for the first time in 23 games as he’s returning from a sprained MCL in his knee.

Between Green, Duncan, and Parker theyve made 11/40 FG's and 0/7 3pt. Theyre pathetic tonight and deserve to be slapped.

Don't understand why the Hornets went for a 2pt when they were down by 3 with 7 seconds left to play
