    Anyone Else Like Denver?
Just looked at tomorrow's card and this game jumped out at me. It's a pickem at my book (DEN -1 at some books). I kind of like Denver tomorrow. Denver finally has all their big pieces back and healthy. Gallo and Nene both played 35+ minutes against the Hawks on Tuesday.

Revenge game for Denver after getting bounced out by OKC? Four of the five playoff games last year were decided by 4 points or less. Denver hasn't played great since the all-star break, but I'm sure Denver will get up for this game.

I'll be interested to see where the line goes as well. I'm sure public will be all over OKC.

What are everyone's thoughts on this game?

On OKC +1, you can read my substanceless thoughts on the other thread.

If Durant has a head injury and can't play then you may be in good shape. I probably should have waited and made sure he was in the lineup first, but I'm on OKC.

might tease it to over 204 and Denver +6 . OKC doesn't usually play well there (1-8 in DENVER)

98% are on OKC at one book and another 76% are on OKC elsewhere. Wait and expect the line to move during the day favoring you if there's no issue with KD

Denver has not been covering at home during this VERY long homestand of 9 straight games at home. They didn't cover against MEM, ATL and CLE (in 3 of their last 4). However, tonight I think they will with a basically even line and in a big revenge match,

Moreover, for all the talk about Denver not playing well recently, neither have the Thunder. In fact Denver is 5-2 in March and OKC is 4-3.

This is a good situational spot for them. Big revenge match on an even line at home after not covering at home for awhile. I've seen this movie and situational spot played a thousand times.

just look at bulls last night who didnt cover at home in their last couple of games and in a big revenge match at home to the team that won the Eastern conference finals on their floor the last time they played on that court, and against the Heat who have not been covering themselves lately (not in their last 2 home games and not against ORL the night before). I LOVED the bulls play yesterday as they had all the situational angles on their side

            .

Denver is also catching OKC in a good spot. If you've watched any OKC game lately they haven't looked like the most confident bunch out there on the court. Plenty of indecisiveness going on with that group lately.

I can see Denver raining 3's early gaining a double digit lead with that crowd and not looking back.

One other angle to look at that I like:

I like the fact that Denver was unsuccessful in attaining revenge against Memphis last week (DEN was 0-2 for 2 games played in Memphis prior to that, and both games came down to the very end).

This only makes me like tonight's play even more. Because it's very rare for a .500+ (winning) team to not claim at least one revenge home game in such a short period of time between the 2 games

If you go to the Nuggets schedule in the following link (make sure to click March to see it wide open)

Check the Denver Nuggets schedule for game times and opponents for the season, as well as where to watch or radio broadcast the games

It is clear which game they had circled on this 9-game home stand

All your points are great. One thing is very important to me here, OKC lost two in a row only once all season long. And when we look at the last 5 games all at home for Denver they went to OT against an avarage kings team, lost to the Cavs, Destroyed a weak Hornets team, Lost to the Grizz and won after OT against the Hawks. That's not very solid.
OKC also beat Denver 3 in a row after losing 12 of 15 prior to that.
The only thing I don't like is the fact OKC are a fav here. Which is a little weird to me. Den were -3, -5, -4.5, -3.5 the last few home games against OKC.

that's makes me like it even more. OKC is 4-3 in march and their games have been W-L-W-L-W-L-W-L .. they win one lose one, etc..

this is after they went 7-0 at the end of February when they were playing much better, less sloppy, and playing much more cohesively during that period..

this is the nba and every team loses 2 in a row, and it happens to every team MULTIPLE times throughout a season. And the Thunder are certainly trending to have a 2 game losing streak shortly. They certainly have not looked as good in march as they did in february judging by their play on the court

Bu forget about that, I like it for the various angles it favors Denver

Also, there was a full 2-point shift of a RLM on this game as of 7:45am this morning favoring Denver. And we all know my record with these early RLM calls:

Now, it did not qualify for my 4:00am EST deadline, however its something to keep in mind..

I think OKC comes out of the gates on fire and hungry, if anything okc (pk) for first half IMO

heartbreaking loss is good. If OKC lost by double digits I'd be a little worried. But those heartbreaking last second ones tend to fester and it affects the next game, far more often than not.

I clearly remember telling someone not to bet on Charlotte earlier in the season. He thought because they almost beat the Heat in Charlotte in the final seconds, that it would carry over to the very next game which was at home vs Orlando. The Spread was something like +6 Bobcats and he thought (as the square he is), if they can hold it tight vs miami (who looked great early in the season), that they'd be able to hold it tight if not win vs ORL.

I told him the opposite is the case. The fact that they lost that heartbreaker will sift in , they'll think about it too much, and ORL would cover. He didn't believe me and Orlando proceeded to pound the Bobcats into oblivion winning by 30+ points in Charlotte. IT was a blowout from the opening tipoff and ORL was up 20 in no time.

So I love the fact that OKC lost a heartbreaker and will be traveling to Denver in high elevation against a team that will be more motivated tonight. I'm going from liking this play alot to really loving it.

                                      might double up

Denver will be ready. They've played like crap since the all-star break but I think they can back on track tonight. I think a lot of their recent troubles have come from adjusting the rotation due to guys being injured, and guys coming back from injury.

As mentioned before, both Gallo and Nene played 35+ minutes against Atlanta on Tuesday. I don't think OKC will overlook tonight's game, but OKC does play a big game on ESPN tomorrow night at home against San Antonio.

Hoping the line will move to +2.

I'm going to play Denver tonight, if it loses, I should be able to win it back with Denver on Saturday against Boston. I've been waiting for BOS/DEN for a while now.
