I dont think +expected value is the same as even odds. Youre wrong.

+ev is positive expected value for the outcome of a bet. -ev is a negative expected value. for example if there was a prop bet for derrick rose to score 21 points and you took the over that would be +ev because he averages 22 points a game and you are expecting him to do that so there is def good value in that prop bet which makes it plus ev. if the prop was for 30 points it would be minus ev to take the over, could happen but the value would be in the under cuz hes only expected to score 22 points a game.
