Roughly 77% of all bets are on Boston, yet the line keeps moving down in Bostons favor?

Noticed the same, it is down to 2.5 at my book. Pietrus and Wilcox both out.

It's unreal. Weird as I can fukking possibly imagine. I even tried to find some referee stuff that could back this up and I just couldn't. Refs are actually favorable to home team ATS.
Doesn't get stranger than that.

Same thing happened two nights ago. Majority was on TWolves, yet the line dropped. And guess what, TWolves still covered.
I think Celts cover. Vegas trying to get the sharps to bite on POR. I won't take POR until they show me some type of life on the road.

Why would vegas care about a couple "sharps" winning bets when they have the damn near the whole public biting on their line movements. Vegas cares about money, not outsmarting a couple sharps..

Vegas knows there are a lot of people out there who watch for that line movement. Lets say Vegas knows that Portland will most likely lose by 10+ (which is very likely since they've been awful on the road), why not move the line backwards and hope to get some heavy money on POR.
I honestly think that is what happened on Wednesday in Minnesota. About 65% was on MIN, I think books knew MIN would easily cover, so moving the line from MIN -2 to MIN -3 wouldn't have mattered much. Why not move it backwards (from MIN -2 to MIN -1) and create some RLM to get sharps to bite.
Just my opinion.

Opened at BOS -3.5 and closed at BOS -2.5. However Wiclox and Pietrus are both out.

Oh it opened at MIN -2 and closed at MIN -1.
Told ya. Books knew BOS would blow them out by 10+. Rather than moving the line up to grab a few more squares, they threw some RLM on the game and I'm sure a ton of heavy sharp betters bit. I've seen a lot of good cappers take POR tonight.

this is why trying to bet games based on line movement is pure nonsense

Books knew BOS would blow out POR. Might as well throw some RLM on it hoping to get some heavy sharps on POR.

when will people understand line movements mean nothing either way? bet games based on what you believe will happen. Stop believing every line Vegas gives is either super accurate or is wrong because it's a trap
