Come on man you can't use that stat. Those laker teams from the past 5 years were title contenders. This is a completely different team, not to mention Minnesota is much better than they have been in a long time. In a year or two this Minnesota team will be a 50 win team.

Earlier this year when the Clipps went to Utah someone said LAC had no chance because they hadn't won in Utah the past 34 meetings. Now what is wrong with that logic? Oh yeah, Clipps won and covered that night.

No, but the Lakers have the worst bench in the NBA. And Minnesota has one of the best benches. Lakers bench plays a lot of the 2nd quarter. I don't have a ton of stats to back it, but I think it is worth a small play. Just fading the Lakers and their weak bench.

Pistons outscored the Lakers 28-17 in the 2nd quarter on Tuesday.

Remember a few seasons ago that Kobe was also criticized for taking too many shots. His response? Refused to take any shot at the 2nd half of next game, and Lakers lost by a ton. Interested to see how this time will play out.
