    Melo is a Cancer
Since his return Knicks have fallen bellow .500. Always needs to have the ball in his hands. Only does ISO, kills any short of team chemistry. Doesn't move well without the Ball. No wonder the guy never went past the 1st round of playoffs. It takes a team, to work as a team, to win playoff series. Guy is terrible.

I agree. This should be a lesson to some superstars that are trying to build so called "super teams." Last year miami had abuncha bumps in the road and ended up falling short at the end. Now this year the knicks are in the same predicament, but worse. They probably have the first or second most talent in the league. Melo, Amare, Chandler, the emergence of Lin, Baron Davis is solid, Shumpert is solid, Novak is a nice spot up 3 point shooter. I mean just a ridiculously talented team that has all the pieces. Im not writing them off just yet because they are so talented and maybe this is just one of the obstacles they have to face before they put it together, but man there are problems in NYC

Melo is a loser. Plain and simple. He leaves Denver and they turn into a good team. He misses 8 or 9 games for the Knicks and they turn into a good team. He returns and they go back to being complete trash. Yet Skip Clueless thinks they'll make the ECF.

I wouldn't go that far. It doesn't help that they are actually playing decent teams now instead of the bums they were beating before.

Nah, I dont bet this team, learned my lesson from the past. Agree Melo is just a good one on one player, he should have developed an overall game after all this time, but thats just not his focus.

Since he has been back they have played the Mavs, Spurs, Heat, etc. A lot better than beating the Nets, Raptors, and Lakers at home. I don't see what your point is bc if you are implying they are better w/ Lin and not Melo then something is wrong upstairs.

Knicks score 32 in a quarter and still get outscored by 3.

That trade was the most one sided i've ever seen, in favor of the Nugs. They got Felton, Chandler, Gallinari, Mozgov, and i think a pick(s).

what's wrong with you? i'm saying the knicks were bad before and they're bad now. where did i say melo was a bad player? i've been the only person in this thread who has defended him. BTW, they beat the mavs too, and then lost to the mavs.

I only looked at box score so don't know, but if he isn't able to guard the opposing PG then he shouldn't be on the floor.

parker scored like 42 pts against the thunder. he's just a great point guard. lin has played in like what 15 games? nobody has any illusions that lin is anything except a rookie PG. maybe except the media.

Parker is probably the most underrated PG in the league. Only fitting that he lites up the most overrated PG.

i'm not even sure lin is over-rated anymore since linsanity died a while ago and the media has pretty much left the bandwagon.
