damn dude This is why I don't Martingale. I chased this way a few months ago and wound up burying myself...an unreal run at blackjack got it back and then some. Don't recommend the blackjack strategy though, had a horseshoe up my ass.

Just started tracking "Sportsbook Investing" (Martingale) since someone keeps posting there picks on here. On there website it says to give up after 5 straight losses. 7 picks since 3/1 and today was 5 losses in a row with the Oklahoma pick. So that would have been $796.81 down the drain to win $20........ I think I'll pass.Comment -
The martingale always comes down to whether your in for the long haul or not.
Typically, you run out of funds, or in the instance of blackjack-the casino has a max bet. So eventually you have to stop.
If your book doesn't have a max, you have a couple K more to go, and you're already in this deep, I think you have to stick it out.
But that's a decision you have to make, and should you continue, a limit should be decided before you start.

I have seen up to 10 games, but only once or twice in the last 7 years that I have been keeping stats. The key number that I use is "7". Houston has not covered in 7 straight games, so they will cover one of then next two.....IMO..good luck to you....Comment -

Helluva team to chase. They played out of their minds and over expectations for 2 months. They are slightly above mediocre and will not make it out of the 1st round of the playoff, yet the lines were treating them like a 1st tier playoff team. The lines have been equilibriating lately on them though, reflectively their true level as a team.Comment -
