4 team teaser with one open spot for $2500
I have a $2500 teaser with one open spot. So I can take any game and add 9 points to it for $2500. What's the safest play here? Obviously it depends on the spread but I am thinking laying it on a solid home team like Chicago or Portland might be safest.

Thing that sucks is my guy is stopping on Friday. So he is giving us a week to close up open ends. Need to find a good play this week

The safest bet is pick any team that is -9.5 and bet the opposite ml. Guaranteed money is better then rushing a pick.

Both of you are new to gambling I suppose... He means to tease the -9.5 to -0.5 in his teaser and then take the opposite ML which would be around +450. That way you are guaranteed profit regardless of which team wins, it's called a hedge and is a good way to reduce variance in a last pick on a teaser/parlay or future.
