Popovich has done this the last few years during the rodeo swing. I can at least think of the past 3 years for sure. This isn't unusual. Anytime you bet the Spurs, you better check the lines prior to tip. The Mav's rested Dirk 5 games this year to get him in game shape? WTF? I always thought you got into game shape by playing? not benched...parker and duncan were rested for this one game. it was first said during the coach and media pre game meeting about an hour or so b4 the game. Pop does this every now in again..not so sure why as home fcourt in the nba playoffs is precious. he is one of the best coaches in the league so its his call...it does suck for bookies, punters and gamblers though.Comment -
