Mavs still playing short-handed without Marion and Haywood and coming off a big road win Saturday night in Dallas. I figured their thin frontcourt would neutralize the absence of Nene, which was a puzzling trade to me. I also didn't realize Chandler was going to play tonight, which would have made this a no-bet.

Just a lazy pick on my part. I'm still waiting for the Nuggets to show me something with a statement win at home. Thought I was in good shape when the line moved to 4.5 late and the sharper books were offering the ML at 10-15 better price than others, but nope. I never bet Dallas at the right time anyway.

I didn't have the Mavs so can't really comment I just couldn't really see an angle to take Denver.

The absence of Marion would have made me pretty weary of taking Dallas though.

No one has mentioned the Pistons/Heat game once today on SBR. Pistons hae been a covering machine lately. But first game back home after a long west coast road trip has me a bit worried for them. Either way good luck, and I think you are on the right side.

Dude, I'm a Pistons fan. They may be playing better, but they're an unmitigated disaster late in games. Add in the fact that it's the first game back from a long road trip -- no thanks.
