I don't disagree that adding JR Smith was a huge plus to the team and having a legit point guard running the offense on D'Antoni's system made them better.

But it really depends on how they play with Melo on the lineup. The only guy who's reliable enough to get the ball in crunch time. Their defense is still one billion years from Chicago and Miami.

Almost every playoff team goes through stretches where they win a lot of games in a row, I just don't believe the Knicks are legit like most new yorkers and bandwagoners think. I just don't buy the hype.

I think the Knicks are a 2nd round exit if Bulls/Heat are healthy. No hating, really.
