but still, a very bad day. i wish i put my money on the Knicks instead of OKC... i was between the two all last night :/

all and all basketball in general these guys are out here to make it to the tourney or the playoffs. they dont want to get hurt so the dont give it there all day in and day out. that makes it hard to bet on a lot of the games. exspecially NBA..

The best thing you can do is fade your own plays. For example if you had done that today you would be 6-0. Works a treat bud. Hope that helps !

Right there with the rest of you, lost a bit on Thunder not covering tonight, I'd take that bet 10 times out of 10, just wasn't meant to be. Right now I don't even want to look at tomorrow.

For some reason I feel better that I'm not the only one having a bad day. Hitting GSW u197 helped a bit (though I nearly wrote it off after the second quarter) but I find that we don't seem to do so well on days with big cards

Was having a horrible day already and laid 8 with UCLA on the 1st half and that helped but then I doubled up on the 2nd half laying 41/2 because USC is horrible and UCLA screwed that up somehow so my day wound up even worse than it looked. I'm new to this and it sucks. I need to figure out a winning system or I will be done. GL tomorrow guys.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. Sucks to hear everyone else did pretty bad tonight though too. I'm liking Boston College +9 tomorrow, they're playing great basketball as of late...my only question is if Maryland still thinks they can make the big dance somehow so they play the game of there life? Other than a lights out, perfect game for Maryland, or the opposite for BC, they WILL NOT beat BC by 9, they hardly have beaten anyone by 9 all year.

Don't get discouraged man. Don't let one bad day get to you, just come back strong, and plan to win back that lost money the next couple days.

If it makes you feel any better, I had a pretty bad day. I lost on NJN +4, PHILI +3.5, CHAR +11, and a parlay. Only TOR +7.5 and DET +10 came through for me, and DET was a small play.

I hate losing on a Wednesday, because it is usually hard to come back strong because Thursday's typically only have 2 or 3 games to pick from.

Why I dont play NBA a whole lot, I do more halves than anything, play college alot more, too much freaky stuff go on in NBA, guys making millions not the same in college, which I find more predictable.

Thanks Speedy88. I think that is where I am going wrong for the most part. When I lose a play I try to make it up quickly and sometimes I even double it. Stupid....

My best plays are gut shots (chime in on a thread maybe 20-40 min before tipoff). Ala tonight with the Clippers who I took at like 10:25 PM EST

That and the Super Bowl, which made some serious coin lol.

N TX (UL Monroe is horrible)
Vandy (After the loss to Fla and Kentucky they need this one)
AZ (They are just looking so good right now)
SF (I think this is a good ML)
Cal (They play great at home and Oregon not so much)
Gonzaga (Santa Clara just not very good)

After thoughts????

Wisconsin (They need a big win)
Denver (La Laf just not very good on the road)
Pitt (They have really turned it around and playing well at home)
BC (Playing much better ball lately)
Troy (Maybe a good ML play with their 3pt shooting)
SD (Portland is just horrible on the road)

Thanks for the knowledge. I am trying to figure out the best ways of increasing my winning % and I have noticed it helps to keep an eye out close to tipoff. I actually had a great call on the ML on Loy Marymount but was wuss and only put $10 on it.
