Given his history playing in PnR I would think yes but it may take a game or two still.

Traditional wisdom says - The first game a team plays without a superstar, bet on them (as they generally get a good line, and the rest of the team steps up) The first game that a star returns, bet against them, as there is a slightly inflated line, and they are prime for letdown.
After 1 game is played either way, it tends to deviate back to the norm very quickly.

Take that for what its worth - 50% of the time it always works for me.

Amare will make the Knicks better. He plays well with the pick and roll as a finisher. Did it with Felton last year.

It's Carmelo that will gum up the works.

lol.. raptors just smashed the celtics and got hosed by refs vs lakers. knicks also lost to toronto this season. I don't see the point in laying 4 points on the road here.

Will Amare and Jeremy Lin mesh together tonight I think they will but when Anthony comes back I think it will be the same as it was Carmelo hogging the ball and Lin won't get his fair shot of touches I think Lin won't feel like he has the right to the shot and dump it of to Carmelo anyway . What's everyone's thoughts

Line doesn't make sense. Definitely over inflated with Amare coming back and with the attention Lin is getting. They lost at home against Toronto earlier in the season.

Who are Raptors going to use to defend Lin???....Calderon? Don't think so, he will run him over.

And if Lin is not gonna be stopped, Knicks will cover the -5. It took a miracle effort from Raptors PG to keep them close with Lakers but that was vs Fisher - don't see Lin and co. doing the same thing and allowing Raps to keep close.
