Charlotte proved tonight why you NEVER lay double digits on the road in the NBA

You just dont lay double digit points on the road in the nba. I had no full game bet on this and dont care about the result but what made me post this is all the guys who kept saying philly was an easy bet. No 12 point spread is easy on the road.

I somewhat agree with the principal of "never take road fav of 10 points or more," but at the same time what is the Bobkitties ATS record as a home underdog of +10 or more. My guess is if you have bet against them, you'd have more money than if you didn't.

That's true but I think this was one of those rare cases that made it appealing simply because of how bad the Bobcats have been at home even with larg(er) spreads. And 76ers were in good spots to cover the spread but just a simple push by Bobcats wit some shots killed the spread.

76ers were never going to cover. they were only up 4 going into the fourth. its okay keep laying double digits on the road. this line should have been -13.5.

a good rule of thumb in general. However I wouldn't say the Bobcats had a big home court in advantage in that game. there was maybe 2,000 fans in attendance
