NFL is a different sport. Have you ever seen an nba team go 0-82?

Your an idiot if you actually think a team would go winless in 50+ games.

And go look at the score, 55-42 Hornets.

            And you were saying........

How is this the perfect spot for a Jazz letdown? If anything they have every incentive in the world not to take this game off. Its a winnable game whereas tomorrow they're playing the 3rd game of a back-to-back-to-back @ Oklahoma City, the league's best team. If anything you try hard tonight and tank tomorrow night's game.

Well anytime you play the hornets you are due for a letdown. I'm sure Utah overlooked the Hornets knowing they play OKC tomorrow. And the sandwich game of a b2b2b is a terrible spot to be in.

And you have to look from the Hornets perspective. They are hungry for a win, and this is a winnable game. The Jazz are far from unstoppable. They are a pretty suspect team on the road regardless of their big win in Memphis yesterday.

BTW, Hornets are up by 19. TDforte

On the other hand, you don't get to 4-23 and on an 8 game losing streak by being "hungry for wins." Maybe 10-16 like Cleveland, but when you're 4-23 you've got to be both bad *AND* hurt or quitters.

Why wouldn't they be hungry for a win. Monty Williams is likely playing for his job each game. Same with the players. NO wanted this game more than UTA, and it is showing. I doubt UTA even gave this game much thought since they played Memphis yesterday and OKC tomorrow.

Bottom line is that bad teams do have to win at some point, and if you back bad teams in the right spots (such as this one), you can make a lot of money. I went big on NOH against Orlando about a month ago and they blew out Orlando by 20+ pts.

and this idiot is......................nowhere to be found.

at him thinking a team could go winless in a shortened season. Do some research, the longest losing streak is 26 games. And yes this season is longer than 26 games, much longer.

I'm saying that there is bad, and then there's bad + dysfunctional or hurt. The Jazz did a pretty decent job of making a comeback late but 15 pts is too much to make up in one quarter.
