I like the kid...I think he'll be in the league for a while...

nevertheless... Tonight is the Kobe show... The Beef is pissed that he's not getting the National Attention... Old man Fish has seen these kids before... He'll have a plan...

Lakers tonight - Mostly because few say they will...

No way. The Knicks are getting 4 points at home, and old man Kobe is on his second night in a row away from home. I like Kobe, and I think people tend not to give him enough credit, but I don't think he can pull it off tonight. If he was coming off rest, maybe. But not after a tough game against the Celtics just last night.

      I'm on the Knicks +4.

Also Gasol and Bynum two big men against Tyson Chandler... You have to like your chances Friday night prime time you know Kobe wants that spot light.

Knick have 3 wins vs the Nets, Wiz, and the Jazz... Clearly played well against the Jazz who shot poor, but almost won... I don't think Lakers allow them to do much of what they want to do tonight... could be wrong, but this is the real test tonight...

Agreed on this being a test. I'm not quite as sold on Lin as most people seem to be. Tonight will be a good test of whether he's been a fluke, or can really compete with the big boys.

Will b tougher for Lin to get those points among the trees.

this is the tebow story again! you think he's gonna be stopped?? it will be a slower game for him with kobe and the trees making it harder to pass around and over, but because the lakers are older and on the b2b, lin will pull out some magic at the end to continue the hype. stats may or may not be as good, but it will end well for him i believe. lakers way too confident, will be cought by surprise.

I really wish people would stop comparing Lin to Tebow. It's making it very hard for me not to hate Lin. Tebow is a talentless chump who only gets attention because of his religious showboating.

Just saw Kobe interviewed on ESPN pretending that he doesn't know anything about Lin. Come on, Kobe, nobody believes that nonsense! I'd rather you talked some smack than play dumb. You just look incompetent by pretending that you don't know about one of the biggest stories in the NBA of the past week.

If you're betting Lakers, I would tread cautiously. Perfect recipe for a letdown spot. Emotional win, overtime, against a rival. Going into NY knowing that their superstars are out. If NY pushes the pace for 4 quarters then the Lakers are toast.

Bro tough to not make the comparison. Everything has fallen lins way, injuries to stars weak and weakened opponents and a national stage. Lin can play but he has an unproven jumper and he's in the dantoni system. Pulling for him, but the comparison to tebow isn't outlandish

who was injured? deron? kobe? wall?
injuries to amare and melo isnt supposed to be a good thing
that makes it easy to focus on lin, which makes it more impressive
