The thing about the Mavs is they're so damn streaky. If they win one, they'll win 2 or 3 in a row. They lost 3 in a row before beating Denver the other night. Now they smell blood and want a streak.

This is also a revenge situation as they lost twice to minny this season. Although the 1st loss in minnesota I don't really count as Dallas was playing OKC at home the following night in a revenge match of their own, and were clearly bypassing Minnesota the night before loading up to play OKC ... They had absolutely zero energy level that night in Minnesota, then the following night looked like a bunch of gladiators playing balls to the wall basketball and dominating OKC throughout the entire game (they were in total control throughout)

so i don't put much stock in the first loss they had in minnesota.
