but you don't know for sure that huge money just came in on them right? Books could have just raised the line to get ppl to bite on the Hornets. Or maybe Timmy D is playing, or maybe someone is hurt for NO.

EDIT: Jarrett Jack was just announced out, that is why it jumped up to -10.

Your a cool guy, you don't try to act like you know it all. Not many guys on here admit their faults. I'm kind of in the same boat as you as far as capping (from the way you sound). Somewhat new, still learning the ropes, etc. Good man!

it is fun as hell for me to break even in gambling, i get a lot of entertainment out of it. breaking even is simply hard to do for most people, i don't care what everyone on sbr says. i'm glad to be doing much better since i started reading on here

and yeah, whenever i'm giving something that may be considered as advice i like to let people know i'm average at best. just like watching the nba a lot

Yup same here. I've only been betting for about a year now, and I'm much improved, but that doesn't say much. I was the ultimate square better for my first few months, and of course I emptied out two accounts with two different books very fast. But I deposited money in a new book about 3 months ago and I'm doing fairly well. Nothing to be bragging about, but for me it is good.

yeah and they change the juice accordingly. you have to hit the drop down and find the -110 for the true line.

the reason they do this is to protect against teasers. they do it even more in the nfl

At least your honest. If you can break even then I would say you're a winner because you're still getting entertainment value out of it. I would much rather throw down $100 on a game instead of going to the movies or something.

That gets a lot of people that are actually good cappers. They can't wait until the next game so they end up playing a lot of games they otherwise wouldn't and they lose profits.

I used to get in trouble when I'd have a really bad day and I would try to chase. Learned my lesson on that a few times. Now when I have a bad day, I just take the rest of the night off and re-coup for tomorrow.
