Betting NBA halves with good teams

Has anyone heard of or tried a system where you continuously wager on really good teams by the halves? One where you keep doubling until you win a unit?

I only bet on on really bad teams ATS in matches where the ref is from a state with a "Y" in it.
Also doubling up is for pussies, to make money you need to triple up.

Try it with quarters.

Favorites very rarely lose all 4 Qs of a game.
