Generally speaking do the sharps unleash this early especially if public could've possibly moved the line another half point? I can't generally follow line movements cos of work etc so I'm curious as tipoff is still 10 hours away

Sharps are the guys getting the best line. It doesn't matter what time it is. If they think that its gonna be the best possible number they can get, then they are gonna get it. Those guys bet and the line moves

Of course though there's always tons of reason a line could move too. You never really know
