totals suck donkey nuts.... I like betting the hot, young consistent teams at home vs average to bad teams in the 1st quarter... like yesterday, Philly killed Washington... OKC killed Detroit (1st gm after Westbrook's signing...he went off) and Bulls beat up on the Nets at home with D.Rose back in the lineup.... TOO EASY.

Stay away from stupid, inconsistent... lazy teams at home, like today, MIA was -4 1q vs Cavs... but I knew better than to place my money in LeBron and Bosh's hands

they do this all the time. What happens is they've strayed from the target number for the game total. Scoring too much too fast so both teams will miss shots for a few minutes in order to get the score where it need be.

Yep. I bet two totals tonight for first halves. They were both on pace to go well over after the first quarter and then miraculously they barely went over.

The teams combined for over 50 and then barely crack 30 the next quarter.

It seems like if the game starts out fast, it slows down and vice versa. The NBA is crazy. I had Golden State and they were up 17 with 6 minutes to go in the game last night and still lost.
