This is why Van Gundy and the Orlando Magic will never win a championship. They don't come to play every night, much less play hard. If they can't get up to play the Celtics even if they're shorthanded, at the Garden, a team who is basically their rival, a team who has beaten them twice in a row, why even bother getting dressed?

Score 36 points in an NBA half, only 46 total after 3, why even bother getting dressed?

Nelson, Howard, Davis & Turk with 16 turnovers, like they're unpaid, amatuer high-school kids. 23 turnovers total, way to go.

Howard with a +/- of -20, like he's playing in the game for free for charity with the Globetrotters.

You get paid more money than you'll ever need in your life, to play a game, and it's just despicable to me that you don't even try. Is giving it your all EVERY NIGHT THAT YOU ARE GETTING PAID, too much to ask? I'm not saying win. I'm not saying cover the spread. All I'm saying is fight with all you got 'til the last second. I'm watching the Magic the first half, their effort that is, and it is just woeful. It's like they just don't want to play hard for some reason.

Are you going to tell me that Van Gundy had his team ready to play their asses off tonight, had a game plan and strategy well thought out and ready to go to win this game, and then lose by 30 and not even score 57 to this Celtic team?

The way Avery Bradley got into Jameer Nelsons ass was embarrassing. The guy was an all-star before, now he is a woman. Dwight needs to get the **** out of that loser ass town asap.

              Black Sabbath - "The Wizard"

Misty morning, clouds in the sky
Without warning, the wizard walks by
Casting his shadow, weaving his spell
              Funny clothes, tinkling bell

              Never talking
              Just keeps walking
              spreading his magic

              Evil power disappears
Demons worry when the wizard is near
              He turns tears into joy
Everyone's happy when the wizard walks by

              Never talking
              Just keeps walking
              spreading his magic

              HAHA-HA-HA !!

Sun is shining, clouds have gone by
All the people give a happy sigh
He has passed by, giving his sign
Left all the people feeling so fine

              Never talking
              Just keeps walking
              spreading his magic

I really want to hear from some of the ppl who came in here brazenly doubting BW. I dropped 3u on the Celtics the second I saw this thread title. This guy has done nothing but make me tons of money.

Magic as a road favorite are allowing 93.4 ppg.
Celtics as a home dog are scoring 83.5 ppg.

The Celtics team total is 85 for this game. If Rondo is back I might elect to take Celtics team total over 85, it looked like a good play before but considering BW's record... I just can't see BW being close to right w/o the Celtics scoring more than 85.

Come on man, 90% of the time my ass. There have been plenty of games in the past 2 weeks where teams missing their best player got destroyed.

Nice hit and an amazing streak you got going, but you didn't exactly expect 56 points from Orlando and a 31 point blow out.

This time I have to give you your props. You went a couple days without a play, and then you came back with this one? Possibly the sharpest bet of the year?

As I posted earlier, I thought that I had accounted for the usual NBA "variance" by taking Magic ML. I had sworn to myself that I wouldn't touch a road favorite in a nationally televised game but I made the mistake of thinking NBA TV was different than the others.

Here's my lesson from this game: NBA TV, TNT, TBS, ABC, ESPN and any other nationally televised game has to be considered the same. I will never touch a road favorite in one of these games again.

Losing one game or one season is nothing to the teams, but the millions wagered in the games is the primary focus. Mismatch of players and the superior team only score 56 points.

And how often it shows so early right from the get-go with the underdog covering the 1st half spread 95% of the time. Only once that I can recall has a favorite covered the 1st half of BW's many calls, and then in the 2nd half of that one the favorite was totally asleep right from the start (Houston), and the Hornets took it to OT after being down 14, EASILY covering the +10 only losing by 2.

But the energy difference of BW's underdogs in comparison to the favorites for his picks, is just astonishing.
