Not a great day, mainly due to two blow out losses of the underdogs that I picked. Twolves were not able to capitalize on the lack of Dwight influence on the game. Bucks were horrible. Dallas should have covered, Dirk missing some FTs which would have made the cover. GSW was an easy winner in the end however the Warriors didn't score for about 4-5 minutes in the 4th which ruined my TT Over. Overall I think I made good enough plays to have a positive day and just really bad luck cost me a couple units.

Riding the Miami wave, line seems dodgy but I'm not buying into the whole 'trap' line nonsense. The Heat roll when Wade gets his, and he is playing well. The Pacers can be a dangerous team but Miami are obviously more equipped defensively and offensively. This is Miamis second last game on their long road trip and get some well deserved rest after this game. They will want to continue their hot streak and reward themselves with a few days off...

Follow at your own risk, I have faded line and gotten destroyed. Now I am backing him and I will probably meet the same fate. However I don't believe in that nonsense. Lin should have no problems again and with Stoudamire hopefully back in the lineup he has another option to pass to. If you've seen Lin and Chandler linking up imagine throwing STAT in the mix...I think -4 should be no problem for the Knicks.

Spurs -8 (1x)

I would have to rate the Spurs as one of the hottest teams if not the hottest right now in the NBA, they haven't lost since January 29 with impressive wins against OKC, MEM, HOU and a 10 point win against PHI who at home are one of the strongest teams. They continue their road dominance against Detroit who I believe will have no answers for the Spurs who could well and truly run away with this game by the second half. Tony Parker should have a field day and the player rotations by the Spurs should dominate the Detroit bench. Splitter/Leonard/Ford coming off the bench will get to work and I believe Tim Duncan will take advantage in the post. Manu is also back for the Spurs and after his return on Saturday says he is feeling fine and looking to get back into his usual groove.

Thanks guys, I will need lots of luck on 3 square plays - but these have been cashing. I'm extremely worried about the Heat play, it all depends on the first half, hopefully Miami play with intensity on offense/defense. Wade I hope will be ok, he didn't get too banged up vs the Bucks, I'm hoping LeBron is hot in the first half and Wade cruises so hes ready for the clutch. Bosh should get his as well vs the Pacers. I'm obviously hoping some of the 3 point threats for Miami wake up for this game, the other players need to realise in b2b's and road trips you need to take some weight off your stars some times and hit your shots and take opportunities.

Sat around too long debating and missed the extra half a point, but looking into this game it doesn't bother me too much. The Lakers should get out hustled here by the Hawks. Hopefully the Hawks play with some consistency, Josh Smith will cause difficulties and I expect Barnes to hack him every time hes goes to the rim. I really don't like the Lakers team here they really stagnate on offense and are so exposed in the point guard position. I think the game will be close but the Hawks should cover the spread.

At this stage it is not working out who can win the flag it is identifying who cant. I would not Lock any team in for the 4 at the moment, The Storm are always strong and practically unbeatable at AAMI stadium so that gives them a great base to fill a top 4 spot. 2.15 are very skinny odds for any team to make the 4 at this stage anyway. I will have a preview of the Manly v Leeds match up here on Friday .

i have never been big on betting nrl, ill still have a flutter from time to time but it has never been good to me. afl is money though. look forward to your footy analysis this coming season.
