Can math pick NBA winners?

This past week I have been using a formula that only uses slight favorites that has hit 6 out of 7 picks on the spread for NBA. There is no way that it will stay this high and it is a small sample size, but if I can find something that will hit over 55% I will be ecstatic.

Anyway, plays for today that fit it:

Orlando Magic -1.5
Chicago Bulls -2
Oklahoma City Thunder -2.5

We'll see what happens....

2/3 for the day (losing the game that Rose didn't play, probably should have been a no play, but no worries).

8/10 so far with this formula.

Totals for this: 9/13; 69%. However, the same formula in college is right under 50%, so this one might end up being a bust also.
