I'm on the Spurs as well Sport_Fish

The Bucks are coming off a 5 game Western conference road trip in which they went 0-5 SU and 1-4 ATS. Granted they are 2-0 SU at home but IMO that doesn't say much with the wins coming against the T'Wolves and Wizards (1-1 ATS). I think the Spurs pull it together and get their first win on the road against a banged up Bucks team. BOL!

kind of SLIGHTLY leaning spurs. they are a veteran team that plays exceptionally well together and do all the little things that the bucks suck at.

and they have some young guys on their roster who are really producing. I think they are due for a road win. They have had a day off after a blowout loss and they usually respond well to that, especially when playing against a poor team

The Spurs are just like the celtics, in that they are an older veteran team that totally sucks on the road in a b2b. I made a FORTUNE last year betting against the celtics on b2bs as they only covered like 5% of the time on the back end of a back to back.

this is because of their old legs. And this year is no different as they got totally walloped in new orleans after playing miami the night before. And they could not cover the spread against the wizards at home after blowing the wizards out the night before in their home-and-home set last week. Of course i had the wizards 1H and full game bet on that one.

The celtics are absolute MONEY when you bet against them in the 2nd game of a b2b.. and to me, so are the spurs (when they are on the ROAD).. The spurs are dreadful ATS in back to backs on the road.

you will make easy money betting against those teams in these SPOTS., trust me !!

The Spurs are essentially the celtics of the west. HOWEVER !! Tonight is not a b2b game for the spurs, they were off yesterday. so i am probably staying away

By the way, go back to my posts on the spurs-thunder game from 2 nights ago. I said it was one of the easiest bets of the year.

spurs were gassed at the end of the denver game the night before, thats why they could not cover vs denver. DEN was running like crazy and it had an effect on san antonios legs. I had DEN in that one if you check my posts as it was a statement game for them, and fast athletic running teams give SA a lot of problems.

The next night in OKC, betting against Spurs was so easy. They were exhausted from DEN then facing a hungry and athletic OKC team and thought it would be a blowout and an easy cover for the thunder. the point spread was -5.5 but they won by 12, and the final score was not indicative how much the thunder dominated that game. they were up 25 points in the 4th quarter

spurs totally suck on the road when in a b2b spot. They are the celtics of the west. But tonight is not one of those spots. I am probably staying away from this game altogether.

There will be PLENTY of opportunities to make a lot of money on the spurs this year (betting FOR them, as well as TERRIFIC spots betting against them.. same for the celtics as these 2 teams are mirror images of each other from a betting standpoint.
