Tonight we'll be making a play on the late TnT late game between the Lakers and the home Blazers.
Everyone knows the Blazers are one of the top teams in pace and push the ball all over the court (score points; wear teams out etc). This team has scored 100+ in all but one game. All 3 home games went over 100 as well. Well we have our 4th home game and we're at 190/191 which is pretty low for a Blazers home game. IMO.
It's also on TnT where all the public will tune in and bet "Overs" thinking we have the Lakers and Kobe Bryant and we have the Blazers and their pace. What i think casual bettors will over-look is that the Lakers are bringing a defensive mentality with coach Brown and the Blazers are actually only allowing 43% FG's... The Lakers are allowing only 40% from the floor themselves. Their 3 point FG% allowed has been absurd. LAL allowing 30% and Blazers allowing 26% from 3 point range. The Lakers are only shooting 24% from 3 anyways so there probably wont be a ton of those. Both teams playing good defense and i would expect this to be under the total...
