Pistons/Bulls - and an interesting variable..
Interesting that Detroit is playing 2 games in a row at home vs teams that had to fight tooth-and-nail to come back the night before..

Orlando - were trailing by double-digits at home to Toronto and had to expend a lot of energy to comeback and win that game in the 2nd half as toronto played hard.

Result = I laid 1Q and 1st half bets on Detroit knowing Orlando would come in gassed with Detroit rested and feeling great about themselves after beating Indiana handily 2 nights before.

Chicago - last night trailed by double-digits at home to Atlanta and had to expend a lot of energy to come back and win that game by their chinny chin-chin in the 2nd half as atlanta played hard. Moreover, they suffered key injuries in that matchup.

Detroit is feeling really good about themselves beating both Indiana and Orlando at home in their last 2 games. Don't see them coming out with a half-ass effort against a rival. They will likely come out as they did in their last 2 home games and play hard vs a shorthanded team that had starters playing a ton of minutes last night.

I may just lay early bets on a rested detroit team early in this game once again.

With that said, I'm going BIG "against" Detroit on Friday for Philly's home opener.

You know, it would be one thing if it was a western conference team coming in with this situation.

But it's THE BULLS.. these teams are big rivals and detroit is the rested home team. So I don't think they're going to come in and lay an egg tonight. I had Detroit straight up in their last 2 games as the line was very fishy for both of them. I watched those games and detroit didn't fool around. They came to play.

Tonight they're playing a rival. I've been on such variables before and lost.. nothing is 100% guaranteed, you just have to play the percentages. But I am right more often than not with these things.

I already won 2 bets on the 1Q and 1H from the DET-ORL game and going ahead again here. If it happens it happens, if not then it doesn't - the way i look a it. I won both of detroit's last 2 full game bets so i'll be ahead with that team anyway (and bet against them the night before in boston as i knew boston would play hard at home for their first win so i'll be way ahead when it comes to detroit bets regardless)

Love your thoughts, and I'll tell you one thing, with all this clutter I can not see the Bulls defeat in double digits.

      Pistons +10 @ 1.50

I really liked Detroit in this game with the points start but Chicago have blown them out already in the first half.

you can't call the Bulls and Pistons "great rivals" any more. This Rivalry is so lopsided, the Bulls have beaten the Pistons 8 straight times I think is the number.

The Bulls' greatest rival these days is the Heat, that's the team they really get up to play, that's the team they're really chasing in the East.
