ghost milk back to his good ol fade material self? hope this isn't a start of a down fall. j/k, good luck for the season, just not on this one. I like portland in this one, not sure if i'll play it.

#37Nice breakdown.
Denver is the better team, without question. Just don't like fading the Blazers ever at the Rose Garden. They tend to pull shit out of nowhere there. I think the line is pretty fair, if not inflated a little in Portland's favor. Not really seeing the edge to make this a big play, but BOL. I think Dallas is the better dog choice on Thursday.
FTR, you say this will be +4 at tip. It was actually +4 early, but has since moved to +5 and even +5.5.
some of you jokers don't have a clue about basketball. Denver is the better team without question
. Blazers one of the top teams out west learn the game kids then post.

Greek moved to 6 and closed there. They were the only book that did.
When Greek has a fave with a higher number than everyone else at close -- especially the Bodogs and SIA's of the world -- your bet is in deep trouble.Comment -

#63Well the OP was correct in the sense that George Karl has the Nuggets on a mission his year. That Portland team was gassed as hell in that 2nd half huffing and puffing like dogs. Aldridge was beading dead tired looking like he needed help to get to the dressing room after the game. Gerald Wallace at times looked like he wanted to die. As were other Blazers as they huffed and puffed and were slow to get back on D quite a few times in that 2nd half. The Nuggets were clearly in better physical condition and moved better as a team. They gave the Blazers everything they can handle. The Blazers left EVERYTHING on the floor in that game and Denver didn't even play their best.
The Blazers won because they couldn't miss a 3 point shot in that 2nd half.. and you can never predict that. The Nuggets lost because they stopped attacking the basket unlike earlier in the game and settled for way too many 3's in the final 5 minutes of the game (and kept missing them). The Nuggets can be an excellent passing team and they just stopped doing that (pay attention to them this year and see how terrific they are in the passing game).
Had they kept passing and attacking (instead of settling for long 3's late), as there were clear openings, the Nuggets cover this game very easily.
The Nuggets had an astonishing turnover disparity favoring them. They forced 26 turnovers and only committed 5 themselves. Moreover ,they drew quite a few charges. Karl has them playing some defense this year and has those guys playing hard. The Nuggets are also in tremendous physical shape. It was impressive considering they were on the 2nd night of a back-to-back that involved travel, while the Blazers were well rested.
If you turn that around and the Blazers had to travel off a back-to-back into Denver, with Denver well rested, that Blazers team would have melted in the middle of the 3rd gassed and beaten like a drum, physically FINISHED, with the Nuggets winning by 20 at home.
ps- In this Denver/Portland series, the home team has won 13 of the last 14 games.
With that said, Denver impressed me last night despite the loss, under the circumstances. They are a VERY strong home team. That arena in Denver will be a buzzsaw for any visiting team that has the balls to walk into that place and step into their path.

#67yeah, you would look at that, mid-range fav, with the hook, equate it to how many possessions, for example, 7 would be three, BUT, this not a normal NBA season......you gotta think the books are making adjustments to these B2B......games...totals as well, oddsmakers set totals too high, sharps went 6-0-1(under) first seven games, oddsmakers adjusted and the sharps thru Wednesday went 6-0-1 on overs, .........better games on the board tonight......I am only "in love" with the games that offer me the best edge
