Season record: 7-4 +2.2 units (63.6%)
3-1 yesterday
3* Memphis +1.5
Playoff revenge here and the home opener for Memphis. OKC playing 3rd game in 4 nights and are 2-0 after dusting through average teams IMO. Memphis off a blowout loss on the road against SAS. SAS had playoff revenge themselves. Memphis is 9-1-1 ATS L11 following a 10+ point loss. Also 14-3 ATS L17 at home against teams with .600 win %. . . Also OKC has their revenge tomorrow against the reeling Dallas Mavericks on TNT.
1* Utah +12 currently but i'll wait until tip to get the most i can get.
This won't be a popular play because Utah isn't a very trendy team. Also we know about going into Denver on B2B. But Utah off an ugly loss against LAL last night and i would expect a better effort tonight vs a team that isn't as motivated as LAL was last night to not start 0-3. Denver blew the doors off Dallas and now face the lowly Jazz. Denver "might" have the tiniest letdown tonight actually. They go B2B into Portland after this game and then get a home and home against the Lakers.
1* Golden State Warriors +4 again i'll wait for a better line
Golden State probably w/o Stephen Curry and possibly the injured star theory comes alive. This will be a total public love-fest with NYN tonight. Seeing an east coast team on the west-coast favored by more than a possession is kind of crazy IMO considering GS has been at home this whole time. Also NYN in a sandwich spot with them going into LAL tomorrow on TNT and off the prime time Boston game on xmas. Golden State has a 1-1 record, but they trucked the Bulls and played LAC tough for 43 minutes until Chris Paul went HAM and pulled away. This to me seems like an over-reaction and GS plays a tough game without one of their guys like most teams do.
1* San Antonio Spurs -4.0 again i'll wait and see if this line can get better.
You have to think everyone will love to back LAC aka "Lob City" here. SAS has the old team versus the young and exciting LAC team. LAC off a primetime xmas day win and now go onto the road to face the Spurs. Not only can you not like the Clippers, but we'll give you some points too! Then we got LAC with their home opener next!....you know LAC fans are excited to see this team at home!....and guess who they play?.....the exciting Chicago Bulls!.....a showcase of some sorts. Clips might be the trendy team, but im not ready to back them on the road against a caliber team of San Antonio and by the looks of the line.....books agree with me.
I'll probably look to see what Boston comes out at and "might" jump on New Orleans with Boston on B2B off two tough games.
** Also the only reason i am even doing this before i can cement my numbers is because if i don't do the writeups now then i wont have time to do them. But i def think it's wise to wait on every line but Memphis....I can see that line coming towards them honestly. It should be a popular play with the sharper folks.**
