Toronto is on a long homestand. They lost the first game v mil but today at home as small dogs versus the old tired boston team they will come out fast and furious. On top of that dont forget that toronto was beaten and humiliated by boston last time.

BOS was -9.5 when the C's were struggling. I had this game set at -6.5 for BOS, due to current form. I'm pretty sure most people would've even take them at -6.5, but it looks like a low line to me to entice BOS ML backers.

The line opened up at -5.5 and now is nosediving.

But Boston has dominated Toronto for a long time now. They have been totally bullying the raptors home or away. Some teams just can't play well against certain teams. As a raptors fan, i hope the losing streak ends today, but I still think Boston will bully us tonight! and them losing last night works against Toronto as well.

I agree. Not sure why LB is going so big on raptors. Celtics are actually pretty well rested. This is their first B2B game in more than one week. Besides, they are pissed off after yesterday's loss. Without Bayless and Bargnani, raptors have very little offense. I just don't see an upset here. The only thing that worries me though is the low line of -3.5. I would have expected more than 5.

I'm starting to feel Dallas. The first game in minny in early january Dallas didn't give a shit about, they played with absolutely no energy and were conserving themselves. They were looking ahead to OKC at home the next night for a big revenge game, and dallas totally dominated them that night and led throughout the entire game beating OKC by double digits. So I don't place any stock in what happened in minny for their first matchup.

In the 2nd match on Jan 25th, the Mavs were without Dirk and Odom who replaced him was still rusty with that added playing time and only shot 2/14 in the game (1/11 in the first half when minny seized control and didn't look back).

Dallas is a team that goes on streaks. when they win one they usually win more than one, or a few. They lost 3 in a row before winning the other night. And this is a big revenge spot for them, while looking for a mini (no pun intended) win streak.

I think Minny is getting Love back but Dirk is playing really well now and Kidd may return (kidd is nothing special but it's a morale booster for dallas more than anything else as they love him in the room -- and i've seen Kidd return from absences before , and coming back with a vengeance nailing shots like nobody's business)

EDIT- I just checked the schedule and Dallas is playing portland tomorrow. Fukk, i wish they were off as i would've like it more. Minny is also playing tomorrow hosting the Knicks

can I get your breakdown on why you think the Knicks will win or cover? they have playing reserves the past 3 games, all playing heavy heavy minutes that they are not used too. I really don't see how they compete tonight.

Lakers will cover. Carmelo. Stoudemire are out again. They have to party under the rim. There's only Chandler and he will struggle against Big Bynum and Gasol duo.
Lin cannot keep performing like recently, i guess, but even if he reach a top performance tonight again, the Lakers still have to win this easily.
I am expecting a 7-10 win for the Lakers, unless the Knicks hit many many 3pointers
