miami is far from a lock, dallas is way deeper than miami and lebron and wade cant play the whole game, this is why dallas dominated miami in the finals..

if you think stuff like this matters, your wrong! just like guys that make bets because a certain QB always throws more INT's at home when they play at 4pm, in November...you should probably check out the roulette board at the casino and play the numbers that have been coming up the last 20 times lol...

seriously though Miami is garbage. There are NOT 3 superstars on that team and last year proved it. Wade is a superior player for sure. Lebron is a guy that has a ton of talent but has ZERO heart and will not win a championship at all with Miami or any other team for that matter. He showed his true colors in Cleveland by blatantly not caring in the playoffs, go rewatch the games and tell me he was playing 100% hard. On the same note he didn't play with intensity during the finals last year either. Say what you want about Kobe but he isn't afraid to take the last shot and miss, Lebron is too scared to even take the shot and he has proven it. Lebron has never been, nor ever should be mentioned in the same sentance as Jordan, Bird, Dr J, Magic, etc.

Don't even get me started on Bosh. He looks so lost out there, Big 3 lol ya right. Bosh is below average at best. Theres a ton of guys in high school that are better than Bosh.

Having said all of that...look at Dallas, they play like winners, and say what you will about Cuban, he wants to win and gives the team what they need to do it. You want a guy that is leader and extremely underrated and rarely mentioned compared to a loser like Lebron, Im talking about Jason Terry.

Dallas with the points is a gift!

Ive said it before and I will say it again, Lebron will not win a championship in his career let alone with Miami. Wade already has a ring.

Miami wins this. Dallas looked pretty bad in two preseason games and everybody knows Miami wants this game much more than Dallas... and no Chandler so LeBron and Wade can drive to the hoop all night long

Who did Dallas lose other than Chandler that will make that big of a differance. Odom will have a big impact and expect Jason Terry to come up big. Lebron isn't gonna drive on anyone, he never steps up and won't against Dallas. He could care less about anything other than $, he has proven that.

Bron always steps up when it dont mean shit, he cares about attention and making himself feel good and winning this gm will make him feel a sense of redemption in his warped mind..Berea and chandler were both big losses in their own way...honestly we can both say whatever when it comes down to it it is the 1st gm of the season (never bet 1st of season but seeing how 1st of season on a day ive always bet nba i guess i have to), flip a coin or come up with whatever logic makes you feel good cause we basically just guessing..

Odem might have a impact eventually but short term might be a awkward fit..

Don't let your LeBron hate cloud your judgement this season. When emotions get involved, its hard to take an objective look at games. The first game of the season are good for defending champs. This may be the first time that the defending champ opens up against the team they beat in the finals. The Heat team is pretty much the same as last year. The Mavs have lost some key pieces. Odom is a good addition though. I think that it is wise to take a defending champ on their own floor with the points. Especially, since they will be raising the banner before the game starts. This should have little to do with LeBron. The first game of the season is usually the hardest game to read. This is a no play for me. If you think LeBron won't show up then bet accordingly. I wish the internet was around from '84-90'. I would have loved to see the hate Jordan would get on sbr.

You do realize he took less than max to go to Miami, right?

Regardless, your hatred clearly clouds your judgment. It's fine that you don't like Bosh, but saying things like "Theres a ton of guys in high school that are better than Bosh" just makes you sound angry and ignorant.

Chandler being gone will make a huge difference in this game. Haywood doesn't protect the paint nearly as well and he's much easier to keep track of defensively. If Miami comes out playing with the space and pace they've been preaching all preseason they should be able to cover here.

Miami will most likely win their first game. Still -4 isn't gonna be an easy cover. out of 10 games, i think they will cover less than 5 of them.

This pisses me off so much! When people say Lebron only cares about the money.
Please if he only cared abbout the money, he would still be living a half hour from me and playing 45 minutes away from me (From Akron/Canton). I am still a Lebron fan

Anyways, I am on Miami ML as well as Miami (-4) but only 1 unit.

Have them in a teaser at +6 as well.

Think Dallas losing Chandler is a huge change and Odom won't be a factor in the paint (on defense) as far as Im concerned.

                                      Thats my 2 cents

Heat bring back their core group of guys, they'll be comfortable with each other on the court. Dallas completely revamped their whole team. I'd expect their chemistry and rotation to be off. I like Miami a lot here.

From the championship run Dallas lost Chandler, Stevenson, Barea, and Stojakovic. They gained Odom, Vince Carter, Delonte West and Brandan Wright. If anything Dallas will have more scoring and be more athletic from the top to bottom.

Dallas lost A LOT this offseason...JJ was their spark (hopefully Roddy B can provide that for them though), Stevenson and Butler (when he played) were their toughness and Chandler was their defense. Sure they gained Odom and a past his prime VC, but they won't be the same team defensively. They are back to being the soft mavs of the past trying to ride the Dirk and a bunch of inconsistent players into the playoffs. They will be regular season good, but not championship good.

seriously though Miami is garbage.

I think its pretty clear you're either a bitter cleveland fan or someone that has lost a lot of money on Lebron teams in the past. In you're 5 paragraph thesis you didn't even mention one thing about basketball. Everything is about the type of person Lebron is. If you don't think Lebron James will win a ring in his career you know nothing about basketball. Bosh is below average? Sure he's an overrated player. Put it this way if Chris Bosh or any player on his level in the NBA went to the worst Division 1 team in the NCAA that you all love so much they would win the championship with ease.

Odom will have a big impact and expect Jason Terry to come up big. Lebron isn't gonna drive on anyone, he never steps up and won't against Dallas. He could care less about anything other than $, he has proven that.
