They have depth in their front court adding Troy Murphy (who looks healthy this year) and Josh McRoberts. They just need a solid guard who can shoot the three and penetrate now.

Probably a #4 or #5 seed this year.

Lakers wont be a true contention for a while i think. They have an aging kobe bryant(with an injury) no phil jackson, are in need of a point guard, and Completely and visibly imploded during the 2011 playoffs. Methinks this will be similar to the early 90's lakers after magic and KAJ left and they had to rebuild. Keep bynum, hes 24 and entering his prime and build it from there. They were on a good run for a while though

Because of the Steve Blake injury, theres no doubt in mind they will be in the western conference finals, assuming they dont have to play OKC to get there.

Remember, they do have a new coach and all, no practice time..and without Steve Blake there outside shooting is atrocious.
