I like NBA. I think i am pretty good at it. This will be my year long thread. We will start with preseason for fun and finish at the NBA Finals. I will make some futures bets, but i want to finish watching the smoke clear first.

1Unit on both games. Just a small wager , for fun. Bulls got rid of Bogans and Rip will not be playing, they have a deep team, but i think the Pacers will take this game more serious. The Cavs and Pistons are a toss up, ill take 5.5 in this one. I will do better write ups during the season, but these picks are just for fun.

Really weird ... i dont remember editing this post and removing my First Regular Season play ... it was Bulls Pk -110 to win 6 units. I copied the play from this thread and posted it on my facebook group.

either way, i am keeping this thread for my own records and hopefully get some feedback from others on plays.

The preseason ended with me at:
2-0 ML +2.2 unit
2-5 ATS -3.4units
Total -1.2 units

I won my first play (Barely) with Bulls PK +6units and i went 2-1 on props +2 units (My Girl went 3-0 O/U .... I am pocketing her winnings on my account, but i will not be adding them into tracker because she made the predictions. (Pure luck) So to begin the season i am 1-0 ATS +6 units 2-1 on props +2 units .... i will probably update my record every sunday.

Los Angeles Lakers -135 To win 1 unit - I think The Lakers will be more focused tonight. They saw that they can hang with the Bulls. (They were aided by poor Bulls shooting however) I think Kobe puts the team on his back, he doesnt want an 0-2 start on a shortened season with everybody watching them, waiting to see if they will fall.

Indiana Pacers -8 -101 to win 1 unit - I think the pacers will be a +500% team this year. They got a bunch of good players, not superstars. I think they play great team basketball and the Pistons are obviously rebuilding ... and probably will be for awhile.

Cleveland Cavaliers -2 -107* to win 1 unit - I like alot of players on Raptors. I think they will come together towards the middle of the season and be a surprise team... Kinda like Pacers down the stretch last year, but i like Cleveland at home I think its a back and fourth game, i think they take it late. Good for them to have Varejao. Jamison and He should get alot of rebounds tonight as players try and shake off the rust and get back into competitive basketball mode.

Rough night last night! Lets try and bounce back !

Boston Celtics +12½ -155* to win 1 unit - I think the Heat are coming off of their statement win, but it looks to be a little overblown because Denver went to Dallas and crushed them aswell ... I think the Celtics play good defense, they have a few guys who can put some points up .... Im buying 2 points as a cushion, but i think this game gets close late and Boston Covers.

Milwaukee Bucks -3½ -155*to win 1 unit Milwaukee plays better defense, the shoot the ball better and feed off of each other. i like them to win lot, but -5.5 is a scary backdoor cover area, so i will buy the points again , but they should win by 6-8.

Utah Jazz +4½ -110* to win 1 unit Can the Lakers fall again ? At home ? To the jazz ? No sure. They had a big lead vs the Bulls , but they trailed all night last night ... I think the smart play would be the lakers at home ... but i think Jazz are alot better then last year ... i think they have the bigs to force LA to shot jumpers. I am big on Enes Kanter ...i think he will be ROY as he is slowly worked into their rotation.




I want to play more totals, but i need to see how some of these teams are adjusting on defense.

Houston Rockets +1½ -110* I think this is a trap. San Antonio has been on a role, but the Rockets starters matched up very well with the Spurs starters in preseason. This game may be the Rockets for the taking. Il take the points incase this game turns out like the Heat/Bobcats game last night.
