I see that someone posted that the only plays today were Indy n Detroit. Was the Houston series not a play at all? Or was it disqualified due to something I missed in the rules?

Houston covered v Chicago in 1H so the series was done on 1st day.

it depends who got what, there were -2,-2.5,-3 and -3.5 options on Pinnacle and many had -2.5 at the beginning. Personally didn't even have that series on my spreadsheet so didn't play it, but it really comes down what you got.

It's not shitty IMO. If you doing progression it is, but many over here runs labby lines. Profit isn't as high as in regular progression, but with labby lines you avoid those huge pit falls. It's quite good system, it just takes some time and effort to run those labby lines but it's worth it.
