#44has anyone looked at the losses? i know phily was a loss two years ago but that series was only 3 games. would it be better to increase bet size and only play road trips of 4 or more games?Comment -

we got a little unlucky in the first Half (at least for those that played -6.5, myself included) but second half was an easy win.~

#48I have been following Soloman’s Road System since around 2004 on various forums and I think it is great some guys are following these formulas and making a lot of units off of this.
I have also seen the rules of the system transform over the years and I really have respect for Soloman and his dedication to share his NBA Formula’s with the various communities.
I just want to reiterate how important it is to follow the rules set out for the system.
I wanted to speak to you guys about bank roll management (not hijacking or beating a dead horse, but figured this might help someone).
This is going to be my first full year using the system (I have been on the fence about betting this way for years, not because I doubted Soloman or the systems effectiveness, but I doubted myself personally if I could mentally handle the swings and large bets near the end of a series and I wanted to wager a decent amount, not just $5 a unit etc).
I think before this season really gets underway before you commit x of your bankroll, or your entire bankroll, you should make sure you are actually committed to playing this way.
I am sure experienced players with this system will tell you, there is a lot of long nights and you have to be prepared to be in deep on a number of series at the same time on occasion.
It is easy to say well “OMG 100+ units so sick!!!!!” when reading past results, and it is!! It is an excellent way to make a pile of units in a relatively short period of time, in fact I don’t believe any Punter can really say they’ve made the type of pure units that Soloman and others have made over the past 8 years following this road system properly.
But, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, there are some really long nights and you really should be preparing yourself mentally for a long road a head (pardon the pun).
So, with that out of the way, I will give you my suggestion of how after closely following these plays since nearly their inception, what I am doing this year and if you search past year threads on this, there is some excellent and pretty much the same advice.
I really believe that in order to make the stress of betting this way worth while (again this is a personal opinion) I would not be happy to begin investing with any less than 250 units to start your investment with.
Betting $10 a play is great if you’re trying to grow your smaller bankroll, in fact I think if you have the patience to grind up a reasonable bank roll, this system will give you a great boost and many of the posters here have similar unit sizes.
To make the squeeze worth the juice speaking personally, I wanted to be playing with $100 per unit and I will strictly stay with that regardless of how well or how bad the system plays itself out in what will surely be a tumultuous NBA Season.
It is important and only my advice that you play with money you doesn’t care about loosing. It has taken me a couple of years to get to this point.
My bankroll for this system is large and it has taken me a long time to get it to this level.
But it is money that if it burned tomorrow, sure would suck to loose, but it wouldn't effect me, or anything outside of this business, including family, personal finances etc etc.
I believe if you invest in this system with money you don’t care if you loose, you will have a much easier time making the plays and won’t become emotionally tied to the results (some of you will crush me at this skill set, which is why I want such a large cushion).
Don’t be emotionally tied to the funds you have invested.
I would also suggest that you don’t withdrawal any of your bankroll/winnings from the system until the season is completed and finalized.
Anyway, good luck to everyone and I have no doubt that this will be the 9th winning season for the system.
In closing, and the coles notes version
1. Make you sure you are prepared mentally for investing your money this way
2. This is an excellent system when followed correctly and Soloman deserves way more credit then he gets.
3. Have at least an initial investment of 200-300 units you can be unemotionally attached to.
4. Do not withdraw any cash from the system until the end of the year or increase your unit size.
5. Do not quit series, play them out, follow the rules.Comment -

Comments: The highest percentage of covers will be made within the first 3 plays but you will have plays that will go deep in the series. The goal is to make one cover in 6 plays. Some may use the labby over the std progression method because it has less risk but it requires better win percentage than the std method.
